Ecuador 2015!

Hi Friends! This summer I have the incredible opportunity to spend three weeks in Ecuador, working with kids. Our team will be doing crafts, playing games, and most importantly building relationships and sharing Jesus with hundreds of kids over the course of our time there. From schools to orphanages, we are excited to share the hope of Jesus wherever and with whomever we can.

Every year, Global Encounters, the ministry I'll be working with in Ecuador, holds a photo contest. I'm thrilled that my photo, "A New Perspective" is one of this year's finalists. Missions is all about perspective. We go to share the Gospel. But often times before we do that, we need to break through cultural, religious, and language barriers. I believe God has given us each gifts to help us do that - whether it be kicking a soccer ball, playing an instrument, or letting little girls look through the view finder of your camera.

The prize for this contest is a $500 scholarship towards my trip (almost enough to cover the cost of my plane ticket to Quito!). But in order to win, I need people to vote for my entry.

That's where you come in!

I would be incredibly blessed if you would take a few minutes to vote for my photo. There are two ways you can vote; via Facebook:
and Global Encounter's website: http://globalencounter.com/photo-contest-voting/
You can vote once on each platform. It's super easy and it will only take a few minutes. Also, feel free to share with your family and friends! Voting starts this morning and ends Monday evening at 11:59 PM, EST.

Together we can help spread hope all the way to Ecuador!
