A Trip to the Heart of Cardinal Nation!

Some of you may remember that just about a month ago, my family had the incredibly fun opportunity to attend World Series Game 2 in St. Louis. It was a quick trip, but a lot of fun. A HUGE thank you goes to my brother Andy for making it happen!

We started out on Wednesday night (Game 2 was Thursday)...we listened to a Game 1 Cardinals victory on the road. =)

Our hotel was right next to Union Station. It was a cool old hotel that used to be a train station.

We were less than a mile away from Busch...it was a beautiful day!

Except for Dad, who already had a Cardinals shirt, we all bought gear in or along the way to St. Louis. ;)

The Clydesdale horses were there and ran a lap around the field.

The Gateway Arch

Waiting to get in the stadium!

Second most World Series titles in baseball...they'll have to put another flag up there...

Big Albert up to bat...

Even though the Cards dropped the game (in the 9th inning),we still had a fun time together...

...and of course, they ended up winning the series (in dramatic fashion), so that made things better!
