Softball Games: Beyond the Field

My dad and brothers play for our church’s softball team. They play every Monday night. I am the team’s official score keeper, but every once in awhile, my dad will take the book and I get to take pictures. This post, however is not about what goes on on the field (you can check out the Stormin’ Normans‘ official site if you want to know about that), rather it is about the sights beyond the field…

Images from the dugout

If how much dirt is caked on your face at the end of the night is any indication of
how much fun you’ve had, these kids have a blast!
The last picture is of me and Amanda…the Stormin’ Normans “media personnel”. My arms weren’t quite long enough, and I didn’t want to change my lens, so it’s a very interesting self portrait, don’t you think?

We celebrate brithdays…lots of birthdays. (Why not add some frosting to the dirt-smeared faces?)

At the end of the game, there is usually a beautiful sky…
Yes, Monday nights certainly are a lot of fun.

  1. I love the close-up of you and Amanda toward the end of the post. Awesome clarity!
