Adventuring: Chicago

About a month ago, my brother Andy, cousin Marie, and I met my brother Dan in Chicago for a whirlwind of a weekend trip.

We met in Millennium Park by "Cloudgate" or "The Bean" as the locals would say, and took the obligatory selfie.

The view of the city from Navy Pier

Of course we had to ride the ferris wheel

The Windy City was absolutely stunning at Golden Hour. So much beautiful light reflecting off the gorgeous architecture.

We window shopped down the Magnificent Mile and ate deep dish pizza at Gino's

Between parking ramps and meters and getting towed, I think we spent about $250 in parking over the weekend.

A Chicago icon

We had to go back to the Bean to capture it at night.

We caught a little Twins vs. White Sox action at U.S. Cellular on Sunday afternoon. It was a perfect day for a ballgame, even though the Twins lost.

Joe...because he's my fave

It was a perfect weekend.
