#WanschurasHopThePond: Bath, England

Hooray! It's the first in the #WanschurasHopThePond blog series! About two months ago, my brother Dan and I set out on a long planned for, longer talked about adventure to Europe.

After a 9 hour layover in Reykjavik (we slept for about 7 of the hours), and a quick overnight in London, we headed to the countryside.

We had heard that Bath was a very "Jane Austen-esque" town, and it didn't disappoint.

The narrow streets were lined with little shops and bakeries that begged to be explored

Naturally there was a hat shop

Fresh flowers were everywhere

Dan says I almost got run over by a bicyclist while I was taking that picture...I don't think it was that close.

We enjoyed stopping and listening to this violinist for awhile

We ate dinner at Sully Lunn's. A restaurant inside the oldest house in Bath. It was built in the 1400s!

We woke up early on Sunday morning in hopes of seeing the run rise. Unfortunately it was cloudy, but it was an amazing view nonetheless.

That red door, though...

The hostel that we stayed in. We were in the top room on the right side.
