Election 2012 came and went. I was saddened to see how many Americans value "free stuff" over freedom. I was saddened for the future of the country I love. But in the midst of the results Tuesday night, the words to a song we'd sung in church on Sunday came to mind:
"This is my Father's world. O let me neer forget, that though the wrong seems oft' so strong, God is the Ruler yet. This is my Father's world. The battle is not done. Jesus who died shall be satisfied and earth and heaven be one."
We can be hopeful because we know the end of the story - the good Guy wins!
